Every week in 2018, I’ll be sharing a power word in weekly wallpapers to help brighten your desktop and act as an affirmation of sorts. These wallpapers will be available in two desktop sizes, tablet and mobile device.
This week… Breathe
This week’s wallpaper image was inspired by my recent reading of Geneen Roth’s This Messy Magnificient Life. A simple reminder to BREATHE… and breathe a little easier with joy and gratitude
“The question is: how will you spend the breaths you have left? On what will you spend them?
It’s not about tasks or errands or doing what needs to be done. It’s the way you do those things. The way you are with them. It’s how you are present in them or resenting them. It’s how you are inhabiting your life — or vacating it.By the time we get to be 84, we usually (if we are fortunate) realize that our breaths are numbered. We’ve outlived expectations. But how about realizing that now? Because whether we are 24 or 48 or 84, our breaths are still numbered. If you died tomorrow, would you have spent the breaths you have today showing up? Living as if this was the only day of your life, with each thing you do, with each step you take, with each person you meet, touch, see? With each breath you take, will you show up, pay alert tender attention, give yourself the gift of the life you already have?” – Geneen Roth
